Matter Industries is a family-owned company based in Victoria, British Columbia. We combine materials science expertise with advanced in-house manufacturing to create dependable, high-performance polymer solutions.

Our team of scientists, engineers, and manufacturing professionals works closely with customers in industrial manufacturing, additive manufacturing, research, and product development to solve complex material challenges.

Our Leadership Team

Dr. Aman Bains, P.Chem.

Founder and President

Aman brings more than 15 years of industrial materials science experience, with over 12 peer-reviewed publications and several patents. An expert in polymer synthesis, characterization, and processing, he leads research and development, material production, and business development at Matter Industries.

Dr. Stephanie Bonvicini

Co-Founder and Materials Scientist

Stephanie specializes in nanotechnology, metallic alloys, solid-state catalysis, and electron microscopy. She leads the design and development of material additives, including carbon fibres and nanoparticles, and supports material characterization and quality control.

Gurdaman Singh, B.Eng.

Co-Founder and Production Manager

Gurdaman is a mechanical engineer with experience in plastics processing, mechanical design, and manufacturing operations. He manages Matter Industries’ machinery, extrusion equipment, and material production lines.
